Kandy Esala Perahara Fund Raising Project

In aid of Kandy Kidney Society, Rotaractors of our club joined for a very worthy cause during the Kandy Esala Perahara on 14th August 2019. The event mainly focused on collecting donations from the people who visited Kandy to see the perahara and these donations were credited to the people who are suffering from kidney disease. The attempt of each and every single rupee collected was to cooperate in healing the burden of kidney disease in our country.

The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr. President Barack Obama once said: "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change."    Simply defined, the word ‘climate’ denotes the weather conditions which prevail in a specific region. It has a significant impact on the lives of plants, animals and humans which can either be positive or negative.
