Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya

Howl-O-Ween '19 (a Halloween party) concluded on 2nd of November at the Earl's Regent Hotel Kandy with great success. The event was mainly focused on fundraising for the club and was filled with several entertainment items to brighten up the night.   The invitees, friends of Rotaract and Interact, past members of the club graced the occasion. It was filled with tasty food, fun events and spooky face paintings. In aid of Kandy Kidney Society, Rotaractors of our club joined for a very worthy cause during the Kandy Esala Perahara on 14th August 2019. The event mainly focused on collecting donations from the people who visited Kandy to see the perahara and these donations were credited to the people who are suffering from kidney disease. The attempt of each and every single rupee collected was to cooperate in healing the burden of kidney disease in our country.

The fundraising stall for the Reach for Water'19 project was held on 4th July, on the 81st General Convocation day at the premises of Faculty of Arts. Rotaractors were able to raise funds for the upcoming project by selling Reach for Water t-shirts and wrist bands and the fund will be credited for buying two water filters for needy people.
