Serendib'18
This is the most
exquisite International Understanding project launche by the RACUOP.
Here the project helped in
developing some cultural understanding via the means of cultural events including
“udarata”, “pahatharata”, “sabaragamu” and ‘baratha” dances.
Therefore, this project is upholding for an audience of foreign people. The most
special part of the event is the fact that all the performances were performed
by our very own rotaractors and university undergraduates. Hence this was a
great opportunity for the rotaractors to bring out their talents.
With the collaboration
given from the Rotary club of kandy, Hotel Grand Kandyan was chosen as the
ideal place for the cultural event. A crowd consisting of foreigners from
Europe, China, India, Middle East participated for this extravaganza.
Serendib'18 concluded
in a grand manner with a very positive feedback from the audience.
