NextStep'19 - Phase 2

The Second Session of Phase one “Meet the Experts” was held on 15th January, 2019 at Hall Appadurai, Faculty of Agriculture. More than 250 Undergraduates participated In the event. This Session was organized with the prime objective of improving the abilities of facing interviews and CV writing. The Keynote Speakers who participated to address our youth were well respected individuals. Mr. Farweez Imamudin, Mr. Prageeth Wanigasekara and Rtr Tharindu Malinga shared their experiences and the Knowledge  with our participants and gave them a fresh perspective from which they can access how to advance towards becoming better professionals. 



A Mock Interview Session with a few voluntary participants was also conducted by Mr. P.H. Sarath Gamini .This event was a great success. All of these sessions culminated to provide our Youth with Alternative pathways towards their ‘next step’ and gave them a concise view about the current corporate world.

         The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya is one of the most prestigious Rotaract Clubs in the RI District 3220. The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr. The 44th U. S. President Barack Obama once said: "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change."    Simply defined, the word ‘climate’ denotes the weather conditions which prevail in a specific region. It has a significant impact on the lives of plants, animals and humans which can either be positive or negative.
