  The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya organized, a professional development conference for youth called the "The Next Step", on the 21st of January 2017 at the Oak Ray Regency Kandy from 8.30 a.m. on wards. 

    The conference was addressed by key personalities such as, Mr. Dilantha Malagamuwa (Sri Lankan racing superstar) Dr. Palitha Kohona (former Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Mr. Dulith Herath (founder and CEO of Kapruka.com) Ms. Bernadine Jayasinghe (former Area Governor F5, District 85, Toastmasters International – 2014/15)

A Brief History of the Club

         The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya is one of the most prestigious Rotaract Clubs in the RI District 3220. The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr. PP Pathum Mudannayake who was an undergraduate from the Faculty of Science. He and his committee have done a great deal to raise the club to higher levels in the district. Our Senior Treasurer had been Dr Shamala Kumar all along. She is one of the main reasons the club stands proud inside the university arena. Reach for Water '19 - Donation of the Water Filter + Rotaract Road Trip

Hey there fellow Rotaractors, It's your Editor here. And I have some very interesting news for you... As you all may know, the final phase of our most prominent project, Reach for Water concluded just a few weeks ago. We donated a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System to a village in the North Central Province, which has been suffering from Kidney Related Diseases forever. Since the journey to this village takes the whole day, we decided make it a small Road Trip and so many of our beloved members joined us.
