Spooky Howloween with Rotaract

On the 5th of November Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya in cooperation with the Interact Club of Girls High School, Kandy celebrated “Howloween” at the Kandy Club, with lots of games, events and tasty food. The spooky night became a success thanks to the help of our sponsorship partners; CIMA, People’s Bank, Ruhunu Foods and a big thank goes out to the official photographer, Kandy Zone for covering all the brilliant moments of the ghostly fun.

         The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya is one of the most prestigious Rotaract Clubs in the RI District 3220. The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr. PP Pathum Mudannayake who was an undergraduate from the Faculty of Science. He and his committee have done a great deal to raise the club to higher levels in the district. The 44th U. S. President Barack Obama once said: "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change."    Simply defined, the word ‘climate’ denotes the weather conditions which prevail in a specific region. It has a significant impact on the lives of plants, animals and humans which can either be positive or negative.
