Kopi and Biscuit Dansala

The "Coffee and Biscuit Dansala"(Kopi and Biscuit) was held on 19th of June 2016 on the Poson Poya day from 3.30 – 6.30pm at the Educare Center, Kandy. Under the guidance of the Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya, project chairs Kushan Dassanayake and Wathsala Rathnayake chaired the project with great success. Also we would like to give our heartfelt special thank to every individual who contributed in providing us with coffee, sugar and biscuits as well as to everyone who supported us with their strength.

         The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya is one of the most prestigious Rotaract Clubs in the RI District 3220. The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr. President Barack Obama once said: "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change."    Simply defined, the word ‘climate’ denotes the weather conditions which prevail in a specific region. It has a significant impact on the lives of plants, animals and humans which can either be positive or negative.
