It's screening time

 An evening full of award-winning short films, which included Arabic, Danish, Indian and American short films was carried out on the 27th of May 2016 at the Arts Theater of the University of Peradeniya. All theses short films were either nominees or winners of international award ceremonies like Oscars. This was mainly organized to develop an international understanding among the university students.

The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr. PP Pathum Mudannayake who was an undergraduate from the Faculty of Science. He and his committee have done a great deal to raise the club to higher levels in the district. The 44th U. S. President Barack Obama once said: "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change."    Simply defined, the word ‘climate’ denotes the weather conditions which prevail in a specific region. It has a significant impact on the lives of plants, animals and humans which can either be positive or negative.
