Walk for Sight

“Walk for Sight – Sight for Life” is a project which is basically focused on fund raising for acquiring the much needed Mobile Eye Care unit for the existing national program, 'Vision 2020' whose mandate is to reach the underserved population facing avoidable blindness.

Mainly, this Kandy fund raising project was launched by Sight for Life in collaboration with Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya.

 In order to make this cause a success, several communities such as Rotary Club of Kandy, Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa, Kandy Hospital, Brandix etc joint their hands together. the project was conducted on the 5th of December 2015.

 Hats off to the Project Chairpersons Dhananjaya Kasun,Onil Weerasinghe,Anuradha Kulathunga and Hashan Menaka on a job well done.

         The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya is one of the most prestigious Rotaract Clubs in the RI District 3220. The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr.
