Siripada

A pilgrimage to Adam's Peak was conducted on the 23rd of January 2016 by the Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya.

Since many of our members wanted an adventure we went to Adam's peak though the longest road. The Erathna road was the longest one with 16+ Kilo meters. We walked for more than 14 hours to reach to the peak; with the rainy weather and  there was a power cut for around 9 hours. The journey started around 4.00pm on the 23rd and it was 6.30am on the 24th when we reached  the peak. It was a great adventure after-all. The pilgrimage and way back to homes were great and memorable.

Hats off to the Project Chairperson Onil Chamara on job well done.
