100 voices

The 100voices, UNFPA campaign conducted by the United Nations Population Fund of Sri Lanka was held on the  23rd of August 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. at the faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya. The program was organized by the Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya and was conducted by the vibrant Onalie De silva Ariyabandu representing UNFPA.

The campaign was conducted addressing controversial youth issues on sexual and reproductive health and Gender-based violence in Sri Lanka. The events of the day ended successfully thanks to the rotaracters who participated enthusiastically sharing their experiences, views and opinions on youth issues over gender based problems with utmost passion. Our special thanks goes to Onalie De Silva Ariyabandu who courageously raised her voice against gender based violence and enlightened the young rotaracters about sexual reproductive health, encouraging them to raise their own voices in their communities.
