ROTARACT CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2015", the sports extravaganza organized by the Rotaract District Committee 2014/ 15 and Rotaract District 3220 was held for three days at University of Colombo. Day one on the 3rd of January, 2015 launched the opening ceremony and was allocated for indoor sports. Day two which took place on the 4th of January was assigned for outdoor sports. Finally, day three on the 18th of January came to an end with the completion of track & field events. This was an invaluable opportunity to show the strength of rotaractors!

         The Rotaract Club of University of Peradeniya is one of the most prestigious Rotaract Clubs in the RI District 3220. The club was chartered in 2002 and after a short period of silence, sprang up to work in 2006. The Charter President of the club is Rtr. PP Pathum Mudannayake who was an undergraduate from the Faculty of Science. He and his committee have done a great deal to raise the club to higher levels in the district. President Barack Obama once said: "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change."    Simply defined, the word ‘climate’ denotes the weather conditions which prevail in a specific region. It has a significant impact on the lives of plants, animals and humans which can either be positive or negative.
