World Down's Syndrome Day Celebrations 2014
The annual World Down's Syndrome Day Celebrations project, which is a collaborative effort of the Kosala Dullewa Foundation and the Rotaract Clubs of University of Peradeniya, University of Sri Jayawardenapura, University of Kelaniya, University of Colombo Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo Faculty of Science, University of Colombo Faculty of Law, University of Colombo Faculty of Management, and Sir John Kothalawala Defense University was held on the 23rd of March at the Nawarangahala at Royal College, Colombo.
The event comprised of a vehicle parade, free medical check up and variety show. Being one of the most touching and rewarding projects in Rotaract, it was an unforgettable experience to be interacting with these kids whose smiles touched us deeply but most importantly to understand that what they really require is a little bit of love and understanding.
