BITL: Before It’s Too Late - ‘Simple step to save a life’

Project BITL , organized by the Rotaract club of University of Peradeniya was a first time experience for its participants. The main purpose of the project was to bring forth the essential skills and knowledge on first aid to ensure daily safety in domestic and other surroundings specially during these harsh times where people are mostly confined to their homes and going to a hospital is somewhat restricted. The event was conducted as a webinar on 28 th of November 2020 via zoom and facebook live and it was carried out almost for 2 hours with an active engagement of more than 300 participants. That is why our Club Service Directors and Membership Team constantly arrange new projects in innovative ways to build this friendship among everyone. While everyone was depressed at home without being able to meet with their friends, IN-QUIZ-ITION ’20 provided a great platform for everyone to connect. When you look at it, you could say it was yet another virtual quiz competition, but when you explore it more deeply only you will realize that this was a one-of-a-kind, extremely well-prepared event that not only provided a fun time but also provided a lot of knowledge about a particular subject that we all were very interested at some point when we were young but ended up forgetting because of our examinations and busy schedules.
